Originally developed as a request from elderly citizens wanting to do their part in keeping Alabama clean and beautiful, the Adopt An Area Program has grown into a program welcomed by many volunteer groups in our great state. Scouts, church groups, schools, civic clubs and many other groups have chosen sites where they can clean and maintain areas in their respective communities. Schools yards, church grounds, historic sites, city parks are all favorites that are being adopted through the Adopt An Area Program.

Choose your site, fill out the application form and PALS will provide you or your group with a sign and wooden post to display at your chosen cleanup location.
