Mark your calander for the 2010 Coastal Cleanup!

September 18th, 2010!

The third Saturday in September of each year means Coastal Cleanup time in Alabama ! In conjunction with the International Coastal Cleanup, PALS partners with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources/ Coastal Section to coordinate and implement the Alabama Coastal Cleanup. This annual event is made possible through our valuable Alabama Coastal Cleanup Corporate Sponsors, Zone Captains and over 4,500 volunteers annually that dedicate their time and resources to this successful effort.

Large trash bags, Tee-Shirts, Posters, Data Cards and other valuable cleanup materials are provided to all cleanup volunteers, and are distributed at each of the 28 zones from Dauphin Island to the Alabama-Florida line.

In 2007, the Alabama Coastal Cleanup recorded the 999,998th pound of litter picked up during the 20 year history of this effort.

Make your plans now to join us in 2010 at the coast to celebrate the 1,000,000th pound of trash picked up during the Alabama Coastal Cleanup, as we "Get The Trash Out Of The Splash!"

Thanks to the dedication and support from our valued Corporate Sponsors, Zone Captains and 5,000 Volunteers, over 100,000 pounds of litter and debris was picked up during the 2009 Alabama Coastal Cleanup. Make Plans NOW to Join Thousands of Volunteers on September 18th As We Once Again "Get The Trash Out Of The Splash"

Thanks For Making It Possible
